BakerHicks Digital Marketing – creating thought leaders

BakerHicks faced a challenge in their Highways and Lifescience sectors. The SA office in Belgium had a lack of brand awareness in their target markets, as they focused heavily on personal relationships. To address this, Levells aimed to elevate the key members’ profiles and build credibility in the industry.

In the highways sector, BakerHicks traditionally won work as part of larger projects. The goal was establish their offerings as standalone solutions to attract larger contractors and local authorities in the UK. To tackle these challenges, Levells conducted competitor analysis and segmented the target markets. We also reviewed the personal profiles of the key individuals on Linkedin to ensure they were effectively positioned.

A clear and concise content plan was then developed, aligning with BakerHicks’ brand messaging and highlighting their sector capabilities. This approach aimed to position the key team members as experts in their field. Finally, highly targeted Linkedin ad campaigns were set up to build awareness among the respective target audiences. As a result, there was a significant increase in engagement, and SA in Belgium is now being recognised and winning work.

D&F cufflinks have featured everywhere, from being donned, by the rich and famous, to Harrods own branded cufflinks and more recently, being commissioned to feature in the film ‘Kingsman’. Our task was to evaluate its heritage, potential and appeal, and to define a brand and communications strategy to deliver the success and awareness this brand’s heritage and potential deserved.

The Handbook

Classed as Europe’s most comprehensive range of jewellery settings, shanks and components. This ‘bible’ for the jewellery industry is produced by Domino Jewellery and released every 4-5 years. Levells have been creating this book, showcasing the vast range of over 5500 items, for over 20 years. Each book takes nearly two years, art directing the content and creating this multi language, 200 page tome. This is the 4th volume.
